ROHS
ROHS is a mandatory standard formulated by EU legislation. Its full name is "Restriction of Hazardous Substances" (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), which is mainly used to regulate the materials and materials of electrical and electronic products. Process standards, making it more conducive to human health and environmental protection.
More Introduction
1. Introduction of EU ROHS certification
2. ROHS certification standard
RoHS 2.0 (ie Directive 2011/65/EU)
3. ROHS certification test project
Lead (Pb): ≤0.1%;
Mercury (Hg): ≤0.1%;
Cadmium (Cd): ≤0.01%;
Hexavalent chromium (Cr VI): ≤0.1%;
Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs): ≤0.1%;
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs): ≤0.1%;
Dihexyl (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP): ≤0.1%;
Tolyl butyl phthalate (BBP): ≤0.1%;
Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): ≤0.1%;
Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP): ≤0.1%
4. ROHS certification method
1. Chemical testing;
Chemical testing is carried out according to each homogeneous sampling, pretreatment, digestion, and testing, and the data is accurate
2. XRF scan total Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr, BR;
XRF scanning is to use the XRF scanner to abstract the definition of the sample material, to determine whether it contains five elements, if the sample composition is uneven, it is invalid;
3. Chemical detection + XRF scanning;
For the ROHS test of the customer's finished products, we split multiple homogeneous tests. In order to save costs, we first use XRF scanning to determine whether there are elements, and then test according to the chemical testing process if there is data.
4. ROHS report integration;
When the customer can provide the ROHS report of each homogeneous material in the finished product, it can be integrated into the finished product ROHS report;
5. ROHS certificate;
Each homogeneous material of the product conforms to the ROHS standard, and a ROHS certificate can be issued.
6. ROHS logo
Incorporate ROHS compliance of electrical and electronic equipment into CE marking requirements. But at present, it is generally directly affixed with the words ROHS.
5. ROHS certification process
1. Fill in the service application form;
2. Sign the contract and pay:
3. Send samples;
3. Sample test;
4. Issue a report.
6. ROHS certification information
Service Request Form, BOM, Sample.
7. Validity period of ROHS certificate
There is no validity period, and the certificate report needs to be updated at any time following the update of the instruction content.
8. RoHS certification agency
ANCI, with a global certification testing team focused on electronic products, has established an industry-leading large-scale testing base in South China (Dongguan), strictly enforces quality control in accordance with the laboratory accreditation system specification ISO/IEC 17025, and has successively obtained China CNAS L6214 , CMA (201819013768) accreditation, international IEC authorized CBTL testing laboratory, American UL/A2LA (4422.01), British ITS, South Korea KTC, German TÜV, Belgium Eurofines and other qualifications, professional certification strength is beyond doubt.
