1. Introduction of Eurofins Group

2. Development History of Eurofins Group

Eurofins Group, founded in Nantes, France in 1987, has an international leading position in the fields of food, pharmaceutical, and environmental testing, and is a top testing institution in the field of testing in Europe. In 2005, Eurofins invested in the establishment of a food and drug testing laboratory in Suzhou, China (Eurofins Analytical Technology Services (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.). In May 2010, the central laboratory of the Drug Testing Department was relocated from Suzhou to Shanghai. In 2009, Eurofins focused on the Asian market and invested in establishing laboratories in Shanghai and Shenzhen: Eurofins Testing Technology Services (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Eurofins Technology Testing (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., and had an independent sales office in Hong Kong: Eurofins Analysis Hong Kong Ltd.

In just a few years, Eurofins Suzhou, Shanghai and Shenzhen have all obtained CNAS accreditation and import and export commodity inspection and appraisal qualifications issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. Eurofins Suzhou has also successfully obtained the accreditation of the laboratory (No.DAC-PL-0612-09) by the German accreditation body DAkkS (formerly DACH). Eurofins Shanghai and Shenzhen have also obtained a number of domestic and foreign qualifications such as CPSC, CBTL, ZLS, and CMA. The rapid development of Eurofins' business in China, the increasingly complete international qualifications, and the continuous improvement of customer recognition have quickly established Eurofins' international certification status in China's third-party inspection and testing industry.
