62368-1 has been implemented in most countries and regions. Electrical distances are divided into two categories, namely clearance and creepage.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS OF 62368-1
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS, the corresponding clause of 62368-1 is 5.4.2, and is the primary method for evaluating clearances. In addition, Appendix X provides a second alternative method, and the original method is 1 of 2.

a) Clause 5.4.2 of 62368-1 requires two paths to evaluate clearances, namely the working voltage look-up table method (clause 5.4.2.2) and the withstand voltage look-up table method (clause 5.4.2.3), and then take the highest value. There are many contents in this clause, which are summarized in the following table for easy understanding and use. 

62368-1 Creepage distance requirements

Compared to the clearance requirements of 62368-1, the requirements for creepage distances in Clause 5.4.3 of 62368-1 are simpler. Summarized as follows:

• For basic and supplementary insulation, look up Table 17 (corresponding to Table 18 of the second edition).
• When applying Table 17 and Table 18, the value of reinforced insulation is equal to twice the value of basic insulation.
• If the circuit frequency is 30kHz<F ≤400kHz, the minimum creepage distance is shown in table 18 (corresponding to the second edition of table19). If the value is less than Table 17, the Table 17 value applies.
• When the creepage distance is less than the clearance, the creepage distance shall be equal to the value of the clearance
